Over the last 20 years I have worked in most areas of the Product
Development Life Cycle (development, sales, marketing, and User
Experience (UX) design.) That experience taught me that removing
friction in the customer’s experience with software products and
websites makes everything else easier: it reduces technical support,
grows sales, and makes advertising more effective.
I didn’t intend to
develop software for the most challenging group imaginable: people with
brain injuries. I started out doing my wife a favor. I was
transitioning from telecommunications to software development. Her
patients needed better therapy software and it was a good first project
to practice software development. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed
the UX Design part of development. I went on to create over a
dozen profitable software products, while learning a lot about running
a successful software company. You can see my work at:

My company no longer requires my involvement, and I am
seeking a new challenge working with a team as passionate about the
user experience as I am.
